The game is a simple get three or more in row type of puzzle game. With 3 different game modes, one where you simply click to "pop" the pieces that are next to each other, one where you "chain" pieces together by dragging a line through the pieces you want to remove, and the last most classic "swap" where you can swap two adjacent pieces to make pieces come together. There are also two main game modes "relaxing" and "challenge".The boards are the same, but in challenge you get a set amout of moves to complete it, and in relaxing you can take all the time you need and click away at your own pace. There is a story in the game, but to be honest it's a hard genre to have a story in, and I doubt people but the game because they want a good story. The graphics are nice and pleasant to look at and colorful, bringing it to a nice game to look at and play. 7.8/10. Match 3 or more of the same tile, either by chaining them together, popping blocks already next to eachother or switching. While you do this you are rebuilding a village with the gold you earn from the games. When you match 5 or more of the same tile you get a bomb, in this game the bomb will be in the tile you clicked to make the match so you can plan where to place it. And you can rotate the board and there is a scramble on a timer if there is no more matches to be had. It's mostly like other match 3 games except for the 3 different game modes. Fine for casual play of the match 3 variety.. Iv'e played a lot of matching games. This offers you a few differerent game play styles to choose in each round. You choose the best style of game play to help try & complete round. Each round earns you gold coins to help re build the (none interactive) village. Thats realy it. It's a nice little game, but dosn't bring anything new to what has already been done. After 1hr of game play I wanted to like the game, but sorry to say found myself hitting the uninstall.. Of course people who make games want the description to be exciting and positive, but the description for this game has got to be from some other, more fun game that they forgot to make. I picture a design meeting where they asked everyone to call out the first thing that came to mind when hearing the word "Japan". "Sushi!" yelled Bob from accounting. "Samurai!" called out Jim, the janitor. "Good, good, keep em coming." said Jane, as she jotted down the suggestions. "Geisha!" "Ninja stars!" "Rice balls!" Excitement filled the room as more and more wonderful ideas were called out. Suddenly Albert the night watchman called out "Happy Ending!" The room got quiet for a minute, then everyone started to cheer. "We're totally putting that in there, or my name isn't Jane Doe!" said Jane Doe. So yeah, it's about rather blandly generic, or possibly generically bland as you can get. This game accurately depicts Japanese culture about as well as Taco Bell depicts Mexican cuisine. Now, I must say that I'm a regular American, and I really don't care how they depict anybody, except maybe Americans. Point is, the whole "Build an ancient Japanese village " and "Exciting adventure" thing isn't all that thrilling. So how about the gameplay then? Well, the next point in the description is "Rotate the board make the best matches." At first rotating the board sounds pretty cool, until you realize that you can just keep rotating the board until you win, with the occasional match made by you to free up some space. There are also your typical match-3 game powerups, charged by destroying gems. Nothing revolutionary there, except maybe the bug that prevents you from clearing certain tiles. Yes, I know they said they fixed it, and yes, it is still happening. If you're a match-3 player, there are certainly other games out there better than this. Heck, HuniePop is a far better match-3 game, albeit one attached to a whole other, less savory H game, which is not an inherently bad thing, but not for everyone. Tales of the Orient is, despite the lovely description, rather bland. Maybe it needs more MSG.. Really enjoyed playing this game ..... The game looked pretty + fun + who doesn't like to mindless play match 3? it turned out to be like that and more. Love the graphics, music, gameplay and even getting those harder achievements! The game gave me a purpose and it was interesting to actually rebuild stuff just by swapping\/clicking\/selecting blocks. =) Definitely interesting and peaceful and worth the look at the sceneries. Thank you for making this game!!! :))))))). best girlfriend calmer. Recommending for everyone whos in emergency!. A well done click three game. Good elements from Japan. Nice game mechanics. Easily among the top twenty list of this style games. Worth getting!. Dones't expect much from a Match 3 game. Just buy it when on sale and you won't regret it.. A classic match-3 game with Japanese elements and inconsequential story. You can unlock a few buildings on a map with the coins you have made and have something to look at. In the end, thank you for the courage and dedication. Please, you're welcome. In the 100 levels, it takes more and more time to clear the hurdles. At first still simple 10-20 moves, in the end 80-100 moves. You can choose between 'Relaxed' and 'Difficult' (with maximum moves specified), so it's very easy and casual if you want to.
